Sleeved clothes or sleeveless ones, flabby arms is a concern for men and women alike. Men and women stand by, we are giving you 6 exercises to lose that arm fat and bid adieu to those flabby arms that have bothered you for so long. These workouts can be done anywhere,anytime and we promise, they’re immensely effective. And hey, you don’t need any fancy equipments to see the results. They work magic (if you do them rightly, of course!).

 

Tricep Dips:

Tricep dips are very effective to get those sexy, toned arms. All you need is a chair and some space on the floor. Rest your palms on the edge of the chair with your knees bent. Keep your feet together and shoulder width apart, fingers pointing inwards. Now lift your butt off the floor, hold and drop but do not touch the floor. As you continue to do more reps you should be able to feel the stretch in your triceps. Do at least 3 sets of 15 reps each to see results. Want to make it more challenging? Try to do it with only one arm active; just bend the other elbow.

Bicep Curls:

Lift some weights! Lifting weights are great for your arms. Just grab a pair of dumbbells in each hand. Hands by the sides; elbows stuck to the waist and keep them like that throughout. Now slowly fold your elbows and bring the weights up to your shoulders and back. Rest and repeat. Do a good 3 sets of 15 reps each. In case you are alternating hands, then make the reps 30; 15 for each hand. Increase the weight to push yourself further.

Tricep Extensions:

Keep those weights handy. Tricep extensions are up next. Hold the weight behind your head. Now push it over your head and push it back down. Go as low as you can to feel the muscles of your triceps stretch. Roll your head up and down in the opposite direction of your hands. Do not strain your neck. 3 sets of 15 reps each. If weights don’t seem heavy enough then do it with something heavier.

Diamond Push-Ups:

The regular push-up with your hands right next to each other under your chest. Keep your elbows in (close to your sides). Go down, hold for a couple of seconds and come back to the start position. 15 reps, 3 sets for faster results. Wondering why it’s called a diamond push-up? Because you keep your hands to form a diamond with your index fingers and thumbs. Yep! That’s right. Push yourself a little more and try doing it with your hands further closer (seal that gap and rip it)

Mountain Climbers:

Well, there’s just one happy news about this workout. You don’t really need a mountain to climb. That’s about it. Get into a plank and one leg at a time pull the knee towards your arm as if you are climbing a mountain but without going up, or down or anywhere. Except further ahead on your fitness journey. 30 reps, 2 sets each. Mountain climbers also benefit your core, shoulders, thighs, legs and upper back and lower back. Basically the entire body!

Pull Ups:

Another one of those tough nuts to crack, pull ups can get you those chiseled arms. All the flab will be gone and you’ll be on your way from flab to fab. All you need is a bar. It could be in your house or at a park nearby or even the community gym. Grab the bar with both hands and pull your your body up. To start off, do just as many as you can but then make sure to increase the number the next time. 3 sets with at least 10 reps and you are good to go!
