White Rice contains less fat in comparison to brown rice. A cup of brown rice contains around 2-3 grams of fat when compared to the one gram or less of fat in white rice. This depends on the quality of white rice you prefer. Always opt for good quality long grained thick basmati rice.
The reason white rice is been hated mainly because our main aim is to lose weight and get fit. We need to understand, a bowl of white rice won’t make us fat or a bowl of brown rice won’t make us fit.
